A Message from the Executive Director:    The Center for Family Resources (CFR) offers high quality, affordable child development programs for your child.  Whether your child is enrolled in our Head Start Preschool or Infant/Toddler program, our Early Intervention program or our Ringwood After School program, our professional staff will come to know your child’s strengths, interests, needs and learning style.    Our staff is dedicated to working with you so that your child’s developmental and learning needs are met.  We know the characteristics and skills that enable children to be successful.  It is known that children of parents who participate in their child’s educational program learn that school is important and do better in school so we encourage and welcome your participation.    In addition, we offer a broad range of Family Support Services to help strengthen your role as a parent.  You will have opportunities to learn new parenting skills and receive support in your role as primary teacher/caregiver.  Our professional staff will link you to agencies within your community to help with any specialized needs such as:  employment training, well baby care, rent/utility assistance, WIC, to name a few.     Making a difference in the lives of children means teachers and parents working together to help children succeed in school so upon leaving our program, your child will be confident, curious, persistent and able to communicate and to get along with others – ready to thrive in school.  I welcome your involvement in our activities and invite you to participate.
